RADIANT HEATING AND COOLING CERTIFICATION

The Radiant Professionals Alliance (RPA) is an international trade association comprised of individuals and companies dedicated to increasing the use of radiant heating and cooling technologies through education and the development of codes and standards.

  • RPA manufacturing members produce the tubing, valves and controls used in radiant floors, walls and ceilings.
  • RPA engineers and architects design high efficiency radiant hydronic systems for residential and commercial applications, including in-floor heating, snow melt, and space cooling.
  • RPA contractor members install highly efficient, comfortable heating and cooling systems throughout the US and Canada.

With the RPA as one of the business units of the IAPMO Group, IAPMO R&T is uniquely qualified to provide certification for radiant products, such as in floor heating systems and general room heaters.

Standards governing radiant systems include:

  • UL 1672
  • CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 130
  • ANSI/UL 499
  • CSA-C22.2 No. 72
